Brad McEntire's newest play DINOSAUR AND ROBOT STOP a train will world-premiere at the 2013 Festival of Independent Theatres (FIT) at the Bath House Cultural Center June 7-22, 2013.
A press conference is held. A robot from the future and a dinosaur from the past address their experiences of being rudely sucked through time and space to our present, how they saved a little girl who had been stupidly playing in the path of a speeding train, and what they plan to do now that they seem to be stuck in the 21st Century.
DINOSAUR AND ROBOT STOP A TRAIN is a contemporary take on the Theatre of the Absurd from the 1950s with its broad comedy, touches of Vaudeville, mix of the horrific or tragic, characters caught in hopeless or confusing situations, dialogue full of nonsense, wordplay and repetition as well as a flat out parody or dismissal of realism.
The Bath House Cultural Center is located at 521 E. Lawther Drive, Dallas, TX 75218.
